Rachel Bradley

At the end of 2023, I met Rachel Porter, and in early 2024, I was delighted to be invited to join the CED team. My husband had recently stepped into the role of stay-at-home dad, and I had taken my editing business to full-time status. I’d started my career journey as a paralegal after working my tail off to graduate summa cum laude from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, first working in criminal law and then working in insurance defense law. After nine years of that, God divinely led me to start a freelance editing business in 2015.

In 2018, I lost my first husband, Matthew, after an intense battle with brain cancer. That experience has given me a new understanding and a fierce compassion for people who feel broken and are hurting. In celebration of continued life and hope, I became a licensed skydiver. Every chance I get, I take to the skies in my rainbow canopy, “Promises,” after a jump from ten thousand feet.

In early 2021, I asked God to give me an arranged marriage and gave him permission to choose my next husband. In an incredible tale of trusting God and giving him my yes without exception, I am now gratefully and blessedly married to Alexander Bradley. We have been assigned the awe-inspiring and continually humbling task of raising two incredible children.

I enjoy, among other things, Bible studies, dancing during church worship, skydiving, swing dancing, rock climbing, reading, teaching, discussing important issues, watching Star Trek, sewing, cooking, Pilates, horseback riding, water sports, playing guitar, and snow skiing.
